This person will be mainly responsible of Local Statutory Reporting activities:

  • Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, in compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (US GAAP & local GAAP).
  • Prepare reports for local stakeholders, financial statements for statutory reporting.
  • Audit Support: Coordinate and support annual audits and tax filings, ensuring accurate and timely submission.
  • Be the primary contact for PwC audit team, leading and following up the pending items for the audits.
  • Be the primary contact for EY Financial statements preparation, providing information, preparing working papers.
  • Leading the preparation for specific items that need to be analyzed under Mex GAAP such as operating leases.
  • Monitor and input audit adjustments in SAP coming from audit review.
  • Statutory Reporting: ensure a timely and accurate reporting for external stakeholders, which include government entities and financial institutions.
  • Preparation of Financial Statements for RNIE (Secretary of Economy)
  • Preparation of Financial Statements for bails and vendors
  • Regulatory Compliance: Stay up to date with changes in accounting and tax regulations and ensure the company's compliance.
  • Be the primary contact for local Tax team, prepare information for Tax and SAT audits.
  • Assist Tax team to present balances in accounting in proper way.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting

Experience

  • +5 years of professional experience in a Multi-National Corporation and/or Consulting Firms (Tax department / Big 4).
  • Self-starter with an ability to multi-task.
  • Proven experience in accounting and financial management, ideally in a supervisory role.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (SAP preferably) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Integrity and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
  • Fluent in English, written and spoken (desired)
