Buyer
who will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing goods and services for the company.

Responsibilities

  1. Identify, evaluate, and manage suppliers to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and supply continuity.
  2. Execute the full purchasing cycle: request quotations, analyze proposals, negotiate terms, and issue purchase orders.
  3. Oversee importation processes, including documentation, customs compliance, and coordination with freight forwarders and customs brokers.
  4. Track shipments and manage logistics to ensure timely delivery of goods.
  5. Maintain accurate purchasing records, pricing databases, and supplier performance metrics.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in International Business, Logistics, Engineering, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in global sourcing and purchasing.
  • Inventory management practices and demand planning.
  • Deep understanding of Mexican import regulations (pedimentos, fracciones arancelarias, NOM compliance).
  • Experience working with freight forwarders, customs brokers and transport providers.
  • English proficiency
