Job Description:
This position is responsible for leading BU Cell Manager, Production Manager, and New Product Manager (NPI) to satisfy customer's requirements: New product launch, order management, quality achievement, shipment and revenue performance. To achieve P/L goal by properly resource arrangement, production and inventory management.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develops and maintains manufacturing operations business plans to include all program requirements, labor hours, cycle, production costs, and image.
  • Provides input to the development of product strategy and research and development of new and emerging products.
  • Establishes production and quality control standards, develops budget and cost controls, and obtains data regarding types, quantities, specifications, and delivery dates of products ordered.
  • Provides guidance to the development of a manufacturing process plan, including personnel requirements, material needs, subcontract requirements, facility needs, and tooling and equipment needs.
  • Ensures all established costs, quality, and delivery commitments are met.
  • Coordinates manufacturing activities with all other functions of the organization and suppliers to obtain optimum production and utilization of human resources, machines, and equipment.
  • Reviews production and operating reports and directs the resolution of operational, manufacturing, and maintenance problems to ensure minimum costs and prevent operational delays.
  • Determines responsibilities of assigned organization and staff positions to accomplish business objectives.
  • Develop operational procedures and standards to achieve business goals.
  • Develop budget plans to control expense and meet cost objectives.
  • Develop strategic plans to improve operational efficiency.
  • Schedule monthly meetings to discuss about concerns, budgets and business improvements.
  • Assist in development and delivery of all client projects.
  • Manage staffing requirement and assignment for client projects.
  • Provide support and guidance to operations team as and when needed.
  • Monitor performance metrics and evaluate operational effectiveness.
  • Ensure that operations team follows safety and security procedures.
  • Responsible for implementing programs to ensure compliance with laws, regulations and the requirements of the RBA
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills
  • SMT Experience and knowledge required
  • Risk Assessment and Mitigation skills recommended.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications required, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) experience preferred
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, problem solving, and prioritization skills
  • Proven ability to function independently and multi-task
  • Must have ability to remain flexible in a dynamic work environment

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 5 years of manufacturing experience required.
  • Master's degree in Engineering, Science, or Business Administration with 5 years experience will be considered.
  • Experience with cost accounting is a plus.
