You will be responsible for technical direction and safe site leadership of onsite installation, operational maintenance, testing, startup activities on Gas turbine, Steam Turbine, Compressors and Generators controls & instrumentation systems in accordance with engineering best practice and contractual work scope requirements primarily within Latin-American countries.

As a Field Service Specialist Control, you will be responsible for:

• Under minimal supervision receiving and following established tasks according to the Maintenance or Installation activities schedule on Customer equipment's in the Field. }
• Collaborating with others crew members to the Installation and/or Maintenance activities of Customer Equipment in the Field at Customer Sites. 
• Being responsible for the execution of specific tasks following the Site Quality Check Lists provided for the agreed scope of work. May interact with Customer Representative and Site Team on routine matters at the Field Job Site such as coordination meetings.
• Providing all required records of all activities accomplished at Customer Site to the Baker Hughes IET Supervisor and promotes and maintains good team relations.
• Executing all required responsibilities safely and as instructed by direct supervisors and following all IET Service applicable processes and procedures.
• Performing other related duties as required. Conducts all business activities in accordance to Baker Hughes Core Values (HSE, Quality and Compliance).

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have a Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Have 4 years of industry experience and IET product line training required. 
• Have knowledge in control systems such as: MarkVIe, Woodward/Micronet, Opticom, Bently Nevada.
• Have knowledge in products such as Aero LM2500 and LM6000 and Heavy Duty Gas Turbines, Centrifugal Compresors
• Knowledge in mapping / tunning for Turbine is a plus.
• Have Intermediate/advance English level.
• Utilization around 85%. Able to travel locally and internationally.
• Able to work offshore.

• T BOSIET/THUET certificates are a plus.

• Demonstrate Functional / Technical, Customer Focus, Communication, Interpersonal, and Team working Skills.  
• Be mainly specialized in Instrumentation and Control Panels.
