Position Summary

The Kraft Heinz Information Technology organization is hiring a Data Engineer who will be responsible for working closely with a multidisciplinary agile team to build high quality data pipelines driving analytic solutions. These solutions will generate insights from our connected data, enabling Kraft Heinz to advance data-driven decision-making capabilities across the enterprise. You will have a deep understanding of data architecture, data engineering, data analysis, and reporting — and a basic understanding of data science techniques and workflows, as well as the business processes supported by the data pipelines.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Develop and operate modern data architecture approaches to meet key business objectives and provide end-to-end data solutions
  • Contribute to generic frameworks for data ingestion, data processing, and data integrations
  • Follow best practices for software design, architecture, and implementation
  • Leverages monitoring tools/processes to ensure platform stability and operational SLAs
  • Leverages DevOps capabilities for deploying data solutions
  • Supports creation and adoption of data assets for the organization

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science, Statistics, Business, Information Technology, or related field
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in role delivering and supporting software and data engineering capabilities.
  • Strong design and software programming development advanced python
  • Familiarity with cloud services within Azure, AWS, or GCP platforms (preferably Azure)
  • Familiarity building APIs (experience with GraphQL is a plus)
  • Experience with analytical tools (preferably SQL, dbt, Snowflake, BigQuery, Tableau)
  • Hands-on experience with DevOps and CI/CD processes
  • Self-Starter, driven with high business process acumen
  • Team Player with a positive attitude and ability to work across different business stakeholder and technical teams to accomplish complex tasks

Domain Expertise

  • 1-2 years of work building enterprise data solutions
  • Proven ability to contribute to frameworks within the data domain using services provided by major cloud platforms.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices in the data space (DevOps tools and ARM/Terraform templates).
  • Experienced in Agile methodologies
