Vacancy: Senior GCP Data Engineer (BigQuery)

Location: Querétaro, CDMX, Guadalajara, or Monterrey, Mexico (Hybrid mode: 2 days in office)

Requirements:

  • 10 to 15 years of strong experience in data engineering, SQL, PLSQL, and cloud solutions implementation (GCP, BigQuery, Spanner, Informatica Cloud)
  • Demonstrated experience leading strategic, complex, high data volume projects
  • Solid knowledge of Python, process automation, and cloud architecture best practices
  • Ability to design, review, and decide on cloud architecture and workflows
  • Focus on scalability, reliability, cost optimization, and adherence to security guidelines
  • Experience with agile methodologies (preferably SAFe), team leadership, and stakeholder management
  • Proficient in Jira
  • University degree in relevant fields: Bachelors, Engineering, MCA, or Masters in Science

Responsibilities:

  • Design and optimize solution architectures in the cloud (mainly Google Cloud and BigQuery)
  • Implement and maintain technical roadmaps for data integration solutions (Informatica Cloud)
  • Collaborate with product, engineering, and stakeholder teams to prioritize and execute developments
  • Ensure quality, efficiency, automation, and compliance in cloud operations

Pay: $79, $139,000.00 per month
