Where You'll Make a Difference
Process payroll for multiple legal entities in Mexico, covering both unionized and salaried employees.
Ensure payroll calculations comply with union agreements, local labor laws, and applicable benefits.
Guarantee timely payments to government institutions such as IMSS, INFONAVIT, FONACOT, and payroll tax authorities.
Coordinate payments to external payroll vendors.
Validate retirement calculations and ensure accuracy.
Respond to audits, reviews, and inquiries from labor authorities including REPSE, IMSS, STPS, SAT, INFONAVIT, and FONACOT.
Resolve payroll discrepancies and provide timely support to employees.
Maintain and continuously improve payroll procedures, ensuring compliance with data privacy and internal controls.
Support account reconciliations, audit documentation, and month-end closing activities.
What Makes You the Right Fit
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
5+ years of experience processing payroll in Mexico, including unionized environments.
Strong understanding of labor and tax regulations, with the ability to interpret complex legal information.
Experience in month-end closing, account reconciliations, and payroll integration.
Excellent customer service orientation and problem-solving skills.
Strong organizational and communication abilities.
Intermediate proficiency in English (spoken and written).
High level of confidentiality and integrity when handling sensitive employee data.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and data processing tools.
Familiarity with Workday, ServiceNow, or other ERP systems for payroll management.
