Where You'll Make a Difference

  • Process payroll for multiple legal entities in Mexico, covering both unionized and salaried employees.

  • Ensure payroll calculations comply with union agreements, local labor laws, and applicable benefits.

  • Guarantee timely payments to government institutions such as IMSS, INFONAVIT, FONACOT, and payroll tax authorities.

  • Coordinate payments to external payroll vendors.

  • Validate retirement calculations and ensure accuracy.

  • Respond to audits, reviews, and inquiries from labor authorities including REPSE, IMSS, STPS, SAT, INFONAVIT, and FONACOT.

  • Resolve payroll discrepancies and provide timely support to employees.

  • Maintain and continuously improve payroll procedures, ensuring compliance with data privacy and internal controls.

  • Support account reconciliations, audit documentation, and month-end closing activities.

What Makes You the Right Fit

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.

  • 5+ years of experience processing payroll in Mexico, including unionized environments.

  • Strong understanding of labor and tax regulations, with the ability to interpret complex legal information.

  • Experience in month-end closing, account reconciliations, and payroll integration.

  • Excellent customer service orientation and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong organizational and communication abilities.

  • Intermediate proficiency in English (spoken and written).

  • High level of confidentiality and integrity when handling sensitive employee data.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and data processing tools.

  • Familiarity with Workday, ServiceNow, or other ERP systems for payroll management.
