We are looking for a
Payroll & HR Operations Specialist
to ensure accurate payroll administration and provide comprehensive HR operational support throughout the employee lifecycle. This role supports both local and expatriate employees, manages onboarding and offboarding, oversees benefits and private insurance, and ensures compliance with labor laws and company policies.

Position Objective:

The Payroll & HR Operations Specialist is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll administration, while providing comprehensive HR operational support throughout the employee lifecycle. This role supports local and expatriate employees, oversees onboarding and offboarding processes, manages benefits and private insurance, and ensures compliance with company policies and relevant labor laws.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process monthly payroll accurately and on schedule, ensuring compliance with local laws and company policies.
  • Verify attendance records, overtime, bonuses, commissions, and other payroll-related data.
  • Maintain and update payroll information in HR systems.
  • Prepare payroll reports for Finance and HR leadership.
  • Manage payroll-related inquiries and provide timely resolutions.
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations, social security contributions, and statutory requirements.
  • Coordinate and execute onboarding processes, including documentation, system setup, equipment requests, and orientation scheduling.
  • Manage offboarding procedures: exit documentation, final payments, system access removal, and coordination with internal departments.
  • Maintain employee records and ensure data accuracy in HRIS systems.
  • Oversee private insurance enrollment, updates, claims support, and communication with insurance providers.
  • Monitor and follow up on employee benefits (health insurance, life insurance, meal vouchers, wellness programs, etc.).
  • Support policy implementation, HR audits, and compliance checks.
  • Assist in drafting HR communications, letters, certifications, and employment-related documents.
  • Coordinate relocation processes for expatriate employees, including documentation, housing assistance, and local onboarding.
  • Support visa, work permit, and immigration procedures in collaboration with external agencies.
  • Ensure expatriate compensation and benefits are aligned with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Serve as a point of contact for expatriates regarding payroll, benefits, and local processes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in payroll, HR operations, or similar roles.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll processes, labor regulations, and HR best practices.
  • Experience with HRIS and payroll systems.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.
  • Experience working with expatriates is a plus.
  • English: Professional level required.
