We are looking for Mechatronics or Controls Engineers to join our team and contribute to the design and implementation of Material Handling Automation Systems. Responsibilities include hardware and software design activities following established guidelines and policies. This involves preparing technical documentation such as calculations, design specifications, descriptions of operations, and test specifications, as well as actively participating in technical reviews and presenting to both internal teams and customers.

Tasks And Qualifications
This is What you Will Do in This Role:
Electrical (HW) Design - Using prescribed guidelines and policies.

  • Interprets design input information to produce semi complex systems designs.
  • Select and placement of electrical and controls components in conveyor system ensuring accurate functioning. (Photoeyes, I/O Blocks, Beacon Lights, Control Stations, Gateways, VFDs, etc).
  • Builds Electrical Layouts and Schematic Drawings using appropriate CAD tools.
  • Performs FLA, Power Drop, Cable Length, and other calculations ensuring crafts accurate functioning and compliance with Dematic and Industrial Standards.
  • Designs of industrial networks follow both Dematic and industrial standards (Ethernet, ProfiBus/ProfiNet, ASi, DCAN, etc.).

Software Design - Using prescribed guidelines and policies.

  • Design semi-complex conveyor controls software using programming tools such as AB Logix Designer, Siemens TIA Portal/Step 7, etc.
  • Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) parameters configuration according to specific applications.
  • Creation of Embedded Conveyor Controllers (ECCs) configuration and parameters files.
  • Creation of Conveyor System Emulation Models for further testing.
  • Document findings and/or results achieved according to Dematic standards such as: Best Practices, Standard Work Packages (Procedures Step by Step), New processes, application guidelines, and manuals.
  • Share Built documents with less Experience engineers on forums such as but not limited to: Trainings, Spreadsheets, Manuals and others

What We Are Looking For

  • Bachelor degree - Preferred in Mechatronics Engineering and any other related to Electrical design field
  • Advanced English - Written and Oral
  • +2 year of Experience in the Automation Engineering work environment
  • +2 Year of Experience on the selection of electrical automation components and develop electrical Drawings
  • +2 Year of Experience with PLC SW Development and/or Code Debugging (Siemens/ABB/Becoff)
  • Desirable +1 Year Experience on Material Handling Automation Projects or Environment
