The team
The Business Advisor organization champions a "One Talent Team" approach, collaborating closely with the Centers of Excellence (COEs) and Core Talent Services (CTS) to deliver integrated talent services that support business strategies and enhance the talent experience. The team focuses on advising and partnering with business leaders, delivering talent lifecycle processes, and conducting talent and workplace sensing to drive business outcomes.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
At Deloitte, you'll collaborate with top professionals to solve complex problems. In this role, you will leverage your technical proficiency, business acumen, and communication skills to deliver high-quality solutions. As a Talent Business Advisor Senior Manager, you will contribute to the growth and success through:
- Responsible for partnering with the ADMX Consulting Services Leadership Team and other Talent function leaders to execute and drive the delivery of the Talent strategy. The Advisor proactively translates the practice business strategies into talent solutions that best enable the business to meet its strategic objectives while mitigating business risk and driving efficiencies with how Talent delivers services.
- Provides strategic and consultative Talent services to business leaders and Consulting Services professionals while managing the overall delivery of Talent services and processes across the talent lifecycle.
- Acts as advisor to senior leaders on organizational effectiveness and achieving results through people.
- Helps to develop and retain critical talent and builds a reputation as a trusted advisor to leaders.
- Use data analytics and reporting to advise and guide senior leaders for effective and insightful decision-making.
- Collaborates with the Centers of Excellence, Talent Services, Talent Risk & Relations, and the Office of the General Counsel to analyze trends and deliver integrated Talent Services to support business strategies and priorities.
- Helps drive performance management reviews in partnership with Performance Management.
- Drives Talent process improvement and integration.
- Provides coaching and development to Talent Business Advisor team members.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in human resources or business discipline
- Minimum 12 years of Human Resource Management or related experience.
- Strong English oral and written communication skills
- Strong talent manager experience in a professional services environment including knowledge and experience in the talent lifecycle and alignment to a business/business operation.
Preferred:
- Ability to leverage HR technology to deliver value
- Strong relationship building, negotiation, and influencing skills
- Strategic thinker with experience interacting with and advising senior leaders
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop teams
- Strong business and operational acumen
- Excellent risk mitigation skills
- Strong written and verbal communication, listening, and facilitation skills
- Resilient and flexible mindset, with the ability to operate in an ambiguous environment with changing and competing priorities.
- Ability to travel 5-10%, based on the work you do and the clients you serve.
