That's not this job.At Nelo, you are the bridge between raw data and the future of the company. You aren't just managing a spreadsheet; you are co-owning the P&L and managing a $100M+ credit facility. You will be the narrative architect for our Board and our investors, turning complex credit analytics into clear, actionable strategy.If you're tired of bureaucracy and want to see your financial modeling directly impact whether we raise our next round or launch our next product, this is the seat for you.What You'll DoYou will quarterback the financial rhythm of the business. We don't need someone to just "track" the budget; we need someone to challenge it and optimize it.Own the Narrative: You'll handle month-end reporting (Growth, Profitability, Efficiency, Cash), but more importantly, you'll explain why the numbers moved and what we should do about it.Drive Capital Strategy: You will be instrumental in raising debt and equity. This means running due diligence, handling negotiations, and managing structured credit facilities.Model the Future: You will build and own the credit portfolio analytics, cohort-based modeling, and cost of risk frameworks (IFRS 9, ECL).Board-Level Communication: You will prepare materials that don't just display data but tell a compelling story to our Board of Directors.Who You AreWe don't care about a generic list of soft skills. We need technical excellence and the ability to move fast.You've done this before: You have 8+ years in Strategic Finance within tech or financial services. You know what "good" looks like.You speak "Investor": You understand structured credit facilities, mezzanine financing, and how to navigate a capital raise without getting rattled.You're a Data Storyteller: You possess what we call "magical charting expertise." You know that a model is useless if the stakeholder can't understand the chart in five seconds.You handle ambiguity: We are a high-growth fintech. The plan will change.
