Purpose of the position

The JDE Functional Expert provides specialized consulting and support for JD Edwards applications, ensuring optimal functionality across key business processes. This role involves analysing requirements, configuring modules, troubleshooting issues, provide support to the business operation, and collaborating with technical teams to deliver high-quality ERP solutions aligned with business objectives

Also is the key actor for maintaining the business processes embedded in JDE and all the JDE Localizations in the region

Principal responsibilities

·Manage ticket queue to resolve end user issues in a timely manner, while providing excellent customer service.

· Act as subject matter expert for JD Edwards functional areas, including Order Management, Financial Management, Inventory, and Procurement.

· Analyse business requirements and translate them into functional specifications for JDE solutions.

· Participate in projects involving upgrades, enhancements, and new implementations of JDE modules.

· Desing, configure, test, and implement JDE modules to meet operational and strategic Nlatam region needs for projects assigned to her/him.

· Work closely with JDE developers to assure the quality on time for the developed solutions.

· Provide second level (L2) and third level (L3) support for functional issues and coordinate with technical teams for resolution.

· Collaborate with integration teams to ensure smooth EDI, ETL, and Web Services transactions from satellite regional systems.

· Troubleshoot and resolve functional issues in JDE applications, ensuring minimal disruption to business processes.

· Document processes, configurations, and best practices for knowledge sharing and compliance.

· Support regional IT managers and business stakeholders in aligning ERP solutions with organizational goals.

· Maintain the JDE Nlatam JDE Template

· Identify opportunities to optimize JDE processes and propose enhancements.

· Work closely with finance, supply chain, and operations teams to ensure JDE solutions meet business needs.

· Participate in incident resolution and root cause analysis.

Required key skills (functional/technical)

MANDATORIAS

· JD Edwards Enterprise One 9.0 or later as business analyst or consultant JD Edwards E1

· Oracle SQL (Use of SQL scripts and sentences)

· Strong functional knowledge of JD Edwards modules: Finance, PTP, OTC, Manufacturing, Modules

· Experience in analysing and documenting business processes and functional requirements.

· Hands-on experience configuring and supporting JDE applications.

· Familiarity with integration technologies (EDI, ETL, Web Services) and their impact on functional processes.

· Ability to work collaboratively with technical teams and business

· Experience in highly interconnected and complex environments.

· Knowledge of best practices for ERP implementations and upgrades.

· Excellent communication and documentation abilities.

· Sense of urgency

· The ability to perform analysis and research business needs to translate those into measurable business requirements

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
