Purpose of the position

The JDE Developer Specialist plays a critical role in analyzing business requirements, assessing their

global impact, and designing, developing, and implementing solutions using the JD Edwards OneWorld

toolset. This position also supports JDE upgrade and migration initiatives, collaborating closely with

systems development teams, business analysts, end-users, offshore and onsite consultants, and project

managers to ensure successful delivery.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on JDE expert with strong technical proficiency and a solid understanding

of functional processes. This role requires the ability to translate complex business needs into robust

technical solutions while maintaining high standards of quality and performance.

Principal responsibilities

· Research, analyze, design, develop, and implement new JD Edwards EnterpriseOne applications using the JDE EnterpriseOne Software Development Toolset.

· Understand and translate complex business requirements into robust technical solutions that align with organizational goals.

· Build business integration components leveraging JDE 9.2 technologies to connect JD Edwards with key Linde systems such as myID and eChannel (CA and MX).

· Collaborate within a team to develop new applications, migrate legacy systems, and provide ongoing support for existing applications.

· Prepare comprehensive documentation and deliver training for end-users on all new developments and modifications.

· Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, analysts, and project managers, demonstrating strong interpersonal and influencing skills to ensure timely and high-quality deliverables.

· Apply strong analytical, project management, and time management skills to meet deadlines and manage priorities effectively.

· Perform additional related tasks as assigned to support business and IT objectives.

Required key skills (functional/technical)

MANDATORIAS

Functional and technical knowledge of JD Edwards Enterprise One 9.2 (Finance / Distribution Modules): Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Inventory, Procurement

E1 NER and UBE Development

E1 BSFN and BSSV Development

Oracle SQL (Use of SQL scripts and sentences)

Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems or related plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or as a Senior Consultant, Senior Technical Consultant, Consultant, Software Engineer, or related

Minimum 5 years of experience developing in the JDE EnterpriseOne environment working with all facets of the JDE Software Development toolset (OMW, NER, C BSFN, BSSV, RDA, FDA, TC, etc.)

Experience in application design and interfacing from/to JDE EnterpriseOne systems with outside systems using BSSV for integration is required

PREFERENCIAL

Functional and technical knowledge of JD Edwards: Sales

Oracle SQL Developer or TOAD

Bottomline Technology Createform Tools (ver 8+)

Excellent C++ and Oracle or SQL database programming skills

EDI experience is a plus

JDE Orchestrator is a plus

Experience with Create Form, Transform forms design software - Designer, Director, File Conversion, Email Administrator, Forms Server, CreateImage, CreateBind and Bottomline Technology Transform tools (ver 8.3+), Transform Designer, Transform Administrator, Transform Synchronizer, Transform Server Configuration Manager, Transform Content Center (with SQL)

Experience with AIS is a plus
