Drilling Analyst
CDMX
Responsibilities:

  • Executes workflows for real-time drilling support.
  • Sends preventive alerts for high-impact events.
  • Keeps a record of all alerts issued.
  • Uses appropriate charts and compares real-time parameters with correlation wells.
  • Corroborates and verifies that the driller's instructions are consistent with the Drilling Program.
  • Ensures the quality of real-time surface and downhole data with the support of the Connectivity Engineer.

Requirements:

  • Petroleum Engineer or Geosciences or related field.
  • Advanced English and language communication skills.
  • +4 years of experience in field operations.
  • +4 years of experience in the following activities:
  • Executes real-time workflows for drilling and completion operations
  • Uses appropriate charts and compares real-time parameters with offset wells
  • Monitor parameters and procedural adherence as per Drilling program/Driller instructions
  • Detects deviations, executes communication and escalation protocol
  • Keep record of all alerts issued per project
  • Continuous communication with the executing team in the office and field
  • QA/QC high-frequency data with connectivity engineer support.
