Responsibilities
The Opportunity
The GP PR2PO Tactical Buyer (L06) – MBS supports PepsiCo's global myBUY(
SAP/Ariba
) procurement process for indirect goods and services across different BU´s.

The role focuses on reviewing and approving business requisitions, performing tactical bidding and negotiations, identifying opportunities for savings and process automation, and executing standardized tactical buying practices.

The buyer is part of a POC NA team of 9, contributing to continuous improvement, system adoption, and operational excellence.

Your Impact
As POC Buyer NA your functions would consist of

Review and approve requisitions and deliver productivity from 3bid processes across categories.

Conduct tactical bidding and internal/external negotiations aligned to procurement policies.

Manage supplier queries, ensuring visibility of PO status through myBUY.

Identify and support process automation opportunities and improvement projects.

Lead training sessions and provide guidance to category users.

Ensure data accuracy by validating reports, savings, and dashboards (Power BI).

Participate in regular meetings with internal stakeholders and regional/category teams.

Prepare and contribute to Weekly Operations Calls, tracking action items and performance metrics.

Maintain proper documentation and ensure timely responses to requests from leadership and demand managers.

Qualifications
Who Are We Looking For?
Technical & Functional Skills:

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• 1+ Years of procurement experience preferred.
• Solid procurement knowledge: category strategy, TCO sourcing, risk management, issue resolution.
• Strong IT skills including SAP, Ariba, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, and general PC tools.
• Experience analyzing data and delivering insights to internal and external partners.

• Background in procurement and analytics.

• Soft Skills

• Strong interpersonal skills to build effective relationships with suppliers and users.
• Leadership, influencing, assertive communication, and proactive problem‑solving.
• Resilience: self‑management, motivation, tolerance to frustration.

• Ability to work under pressure and deliver strong service performance.

• Languages

• Advanced English (required).
