About the role: They are looking for a Email Strategist to join the team. The Email Strategist plays a key role in driving account strategy, launching new initiatives, and building strong, trusted client relationships. This role blends strategic thinking with hands-on execution—owning the big picture while guiding creative, technical, and performance decisions that fuel email growth.
Working across multiple accounts, the Email Strategist partners closely with Email Specialists to plan campaigns, optimize performance, and ensure clients are aligned, informed, and confident in the strategy. It's an ideal role for someone who enjoys balancing client management with data-driven decision-making and best-in-class email practices.

What You'll Do
Own Client Communication:Run bimonthly calls with clientsPromptly respond to client Slack messagesManage client expectations, i.e., set them up for great results and build excitement about account winsWork with the client to finalize the launch plan, while ensuring we prioritize proven strategiesCommunicate wins and findings during and after initial buildoutCreate resources to empower clients to improve overall marketing based on email performanceProactively Plan & Ideate Opportunity:Create and manage client promotional calendar, including content emailsLook ahead 4+ weeks with the client to anticipate promos, inventory shifts, new products, or assetsEnsure a minimum of 1 promo/6 weeksMonitor key email marketing metrics on a weekly & monthly basis & adjust email strategy based on needsCreate email briefs for key flowsEvery 1-2 months, propose a new strategic initiative (new flows, new lead magnets, etc.)Every month, test one new high-level hypothesis across 5+ emailsEnsure client content creation strategy is aligned with account goalsCreate all promo campaign mapsAnalyze the current automation setup to identify which existing email flows should be tested against the company's proven flows and which should be replaced entirelyMaintain Impeccable Quality:QA email content with a focus on strategy (design, copy, content, links, page)Each month, propose 5-10 tests per client (either automation or broadcasts)Review automation before launchingReview client account performance weekly Supplemental copywriting to improve and tweak emailsManage specialists to ensurethe correct implementation of proposed strategiesWhat You Need
Experience building out and managing an email program for 2+ brands, including 1+ ecommerce brands4+ years of relevant experience, including copywriting, building mails, building flows, pulling, reading, and summarizing data (preferably in Klaviyo)Expert understanding of email best practices, pertaining to list hygiene, inbox placement, iOS 15Motivated with a positive, can-do attitudeEager to learn and take ownership of duties (e.g., learning SMS strategies)Excellent communicator who works well with othersEfficient and well-organizedAble to work remotely (from home), with team communications via Slack and ZoomSalary & Perks
