Director of Growth Marketing

As the Director of Growth Marketing, EMEA, you will lead the regional growth strategy across all acquisition and retention levers, driving sustainable revenue growth and customer lifetime value across multiple European markets. This role is ideal for a data-driven, creative, and strategic marketing leader with deep DTC and eCommerce experience who thrives in fast-paced, international environments.
You will own the full-funnel growth vision for EMEA—balancing global frameworks with local market nuance—while building and leading a best-in-class regional growth organization.
Key ResponsibilitiesGrowth Strategy & Leadership- Define and own the EMEA growth marketing vision across paid, organic, earned, and owned channels.
- Lead customer acquisition, retention, and lifecycle growth initiatives to maximize LTV and profitability.
- Act as a strategic partner to EMEA leadership, contributing insights that shape country-level growth plans and broader regional strategy.
- Represent EMEA in global marketing forums, sharing local insights and best practices to inform global initiatives.
- Hire, lead, and mentor a high-performing regional Growth Marketing team covering paid media, influencers, social, retention, affiliates, social commerce, and external partners.
- Build and scale a best-in-class in-house EMEA digital growth hub.
- Set clear goals, KPIs, roadmaps, and development plans to drive accountability and professional growth.
- Partner closely with Creative, Brand, Web, Product, eCommerce, Data, and Operations teams to align priorities, messaging, and execution.
- Foster a test-and-learn, data-informed culture that encourages innovation and continuous improvement.
- Define and execute market-specific growth strategies in partnership with Country Managers.
- Adapt global campaigns to local cultures, languages, and consumer behaviors.
- Conduct ongoing market and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and seasonal moments.
- Develop scalable playbooks and toolkits that ensure consistency while allowing creative flexibility across markets.
- Act as the voice of the regional consumer within global marketing discussions.
- Own regional performance reporting and dashboards across paid media, social, CRM, affiliates, and retention channels.
- Present insights during weekly, monthly, and quarterly business reviews, including key commercial moments.
- Partner with Finance, Data, and eCommerce teams to forecast performance, model ROI, and guide budget planning.
- Lead CRO, A/B, and multivariate testing frameworks across creative, audiences, and landing pages.
- Ensure data integrity and alignment across platforms (e.g., eCommerce, analytics, CRM, ad platforms).
- Lead full-funnel performance marketing across major platforms (e.g., Meta, Google, YouTube, TikTok) and relevant regional channels.
- Define channel strategy, creative roadmaps, audience segmentation, and testing frameworks.
- Own regional budget allocation, pacing, and optimization across markets and platforms.
- Manage agency partners and internal teams to ensure best-in-class execution and measurable results.
- Evaluate and pilot emerging channels, tools, and technologies to unlock new growth opportunities.
- Oversee EMEA social and influencer strategies across organic, paid, and creator-led initiatives.
- Localize global storytelling to ensure cultural relevance and platform-native execution.
- Develop influencer programs across macro, micro, and nano creators to drive awareness and conversion.
- Establish benchmarks and reporting for social growth, engagement, traffic, and revenue contribution.
- Build strong relationships with creators, agencies, and platform partners across the region.
- 8–10+ years of experience in growth or performance marketing within DTC, eCommerce, consumer goods, or agency environments.
- Proven experience scaling brands across multiple EMEA markets.
- Strong leadership mindset with a hands-on, execution-focused approach.
- Deep expertise across paid media, CRM, retention, affiliates, organic and earned social.
- Advanced analytical skills, including attribution, cohort analysis, and LTV modeling.
- Experience managing seven-figure marketing budgets with clear revenue and profitability impact.
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills, bridging data, creativity, and strategy.
- Fluency in English and German; additional European languages are a plus.
- Passion for food, cooking, and the culture that surrounds it is a strong advantage.
