Working directly with end-users and managers to provide advanced hardware, software, network, and applications problem reso
- lution.Identifying areas for improvement in the technology landscape, proposing solutions, and implementing projects to complet
- e them.Being responsible for ContourGlobal plants, including IT support for existing sites and integration of new sites as required during IT M&A (Mergers and Acquisitions) and Divestment of
- assets.Acting as an important contributor in standardizing and improving our overall global technology platform, and interfacing with the global IT team to accomplis
- h this.Managing, mentoring, and leading on-site IT personnel within Mexico and the US (IT Managers, Specialists, Engineers), coordinating team objectives and acti
- vities.Preparing and managing Local and Regional IT b
- udgets.Supporting end-users with hardware/software installation, configuration, and troubleshooting (Tier II support: networks, Windows OS, MS Office, Skype for Bus
- iness).Analyzing and resolving LAN/WAN hardware and software issues; assisting with global infrastructure, including VPN communication and data r
- outing.Utilizing the IT ticketing system to manage and document support tickets, preparing activity and progress r
- eports.Installing, configuring, and upgrading operating systems and software; adapting applications for operational depar
- tments.Tracking and updating IT asset movements (laptops, desktops, printers,
- etc.).Maintaining and contributing to Desktop Support SOPs and training m
- anuals.Supporting and troubleshooting video conference s
- ystems.Planning, designing, researching, and acquiring new or upgraded hardware and software sol
