We are looking for: HEAD OF FINANCE

About the Role:

We are looking to bring onboard a
world-class Head of Finance
that will lead the Financial function of the organization from scaleup to millions of customers while rolling out new products, services and working with the Executive Committee to set the path for the future.

What you'll be doing

  • Leading Vexi's Finance department including Financial Planning & Analysis, Accounting and Financial Control, Tax functions, Treasury and Accounts Payable, as well as Financial Data infrastructure teams.
  • Managing and Forecasting treasury cashflows
  • Conduct profit and cost analysis. Unit economics. CAC / LTV, NPLs and cohorts' analysis.
  • Providing Finance expertise and supporting Fundraising.
  • Driving the periodic company-wide budgeting process and establishing annual financial Company Goals that align with the company's plans for growth and expansion.
  • Forecasting and modeling monthly, quarterly, and annual results.
  • Overseeing and governing the preparation of financial statements, tax fillings, and the external audit process.
  • Ensuring all accounting activities comply with regulations, and required controls are set to minimize financial related risks.
  • Leading and motivating staff and ensuring that they achieve their full potential.

What you'll be doing

  • 7+ years of experience in a fast-paced finance environment at a financial services / lending company / VC / investment bank / consultant
  • In-depth understanding of cash flow management
  • Understanding of a bank's balance sheet, loans, reserves and hedge accounting principles
  • Strategic thinker and fast learner
  • Positive attitude: 'Can do' approach and willing to give everything a go from manual processing to larger projects
  • Outstanding communication and negotiation skills
  • Experience in building and leading teams of 10+ people
  • Excellent organization skills: ability to plan and organize work so that it is efficient and effective

Nice to have

  • Proven experience raising private investment and/or exposure to a public offering process
  • MySQL / Python / Systems knowledge a plus
