Name of the Project: Corporate Affairs Intern

Intern´s Location: Monterrey, Mexico Office Ricardo Margain

Semester (s): 5th, 6th or 7th

Careers of Interest: Global Business, Business Intelligence, Business and Management, Strategy and Business Transformation, International Finance

Schedule Availability: Between 25 and 30 hours per week

Period of stay at Cemex: 6 months with the option of renewal

Tentative Start Date: February 2026



Detailed Description of the Project:

Project Objective: Contribute to strategic decision-making by supporting the analysis, monitoring, and synthesis of information related to key stakeholders, strategic projects, and relevant industries including the sports sector, oil and gas, and broader business trends.

Challenges for the Student: Availability in schedule, organization of tasks and time.

Main Responsibilities and Activities to be Carried Out: 

Research and reporting on various topics (competitors, sports industry, oil & gas, and business trends). Budget tracking and follow-up. Development of documents, including presentations and briefs on events and companies. Administrative support, including expense reports

Specific Requirements/Qualifications: 

Strong research capabilitiesSolid analytical skills with the ability to synthesize and summarize information clearlyAbility to work effectively in a team environmentCapacity to work under pressure and meet tight deadlinesStrong self-learning skills, intellectual curiosity, and a proactive approach to work

Highly organized, detail-oriented, and with a positive attitude

High level of commitment, responsibility, and discretion in handling confidential or sensitive informationIntermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, particularly Word, PowerPoint, and ExcelExcellent written communication skills in English and Spanish
