Ford is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Analyst to join our dynamic Finance team. The Accounts Payable Analyst will play a crucial role in managing the company's outgoing payments, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, and maintaining strong relationships with our vendors. This position requires a keen eye for detail, strong analytical capabilities, and excellent communication skills to support our operations in Chile and collaborate with our global finance functions.

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: A minimum of 2-3 years of proven experience in an Accounts Payable role or a similar financial position, preferably within a multinational company or shared services environment.
  • Language: Fluent in both English and Spanish (written and verbal) is essential for effective communication with local and international stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and data analysis.
  • Strong data entry skills.
  • Artificial Intelligence knowledge.

  • Process and review high volumes of invoices (PO and Non-PO) and expense reports, ensuring accuracy, proper coding, and compliance with company policies and financial procedures.

  • Manage the full accounts payable cycle, including invoice processing, payment approvals, and account reconciliations.
  • Prepare and process payment runs for multiple currencies, adhering to payment schedules.
  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities, including preparing accruals, reconciliations, and supporting documentation for audits.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Purchasing, Logistics, Treasury) to streamline processes and enhance the overall efficiency of accounts payable operations.
  • Ensure strong internal controls over accounts payable to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with financial policies and local regulations.
  • Utilize financial software to manage and report on accounts payable metrics.
