HR Operations & People Manager

Job Type: Full-Time / Contract

Compensation: $1000 USD- $1200 USD a month

Position Overview

We are looking for a proactive, tech-savvy HR professional who goes beyond traditional hiring. This role is ideal for someone who takes ownership, anticipates needs, follows through without being reminded, and helps keep both operations and team culture running smoothly.

This person will be a key partner in hiring, HR operations, payroll readiness, internal communications, and people experience.

Key ResponsibilitiesHiring & Talent Operations

  • Manage end-to-end hiring processes (posting, screening, coordination, onboarding)
  • Ensure timely follow-up and completion of all hiring-related tasks
  • Support hiring managers with organization, tracking, and communication

HR Operations & Ownership

  • Own HR processes from start to finish (no task left incomplete)
  • Track and report basic HR KPIs (hiring progress, onboarding status, turnover, etc.)
  • Create, update, and maintain internal policies and documentation
  • Ensure all HR-related communications (bonuses, shutdowns, announcements, updates) are sent on time and correctly

Payroll Readiness & Team Database

  • Maintain a clean, up-to-date team database (start dates, roles, contracts, hours)
  • Prepare everything needed for payroll so leadership can process payroll smoothly without chasing information
  • Ensure all team changes are reflected accurately and on time

People & Culture

  • Help keep the team engaged and cared for
  • Track birthdays, anniversaries, and important team milestones
  • Support internal initiatives that improve team satisfaction and morale
  • Be a reliable point of contact for team questions and concerns

Tech & Systems

  • Use and improve HR tools, spreadsheets, and systems
  • Be comfortable working with Google Workspace, HR platforms, and databases
  • Proactively suggest better ways to organize, track, and automate HR workflows
