Job Overview
Creates plans, forecasts, and schedules relating to materials required and maintains proper inventory levels to meet operational requirements.

Job Requirements

  • Close daily communication with the Cust Care team to address customer requirements.
  • Review MRP controller (review production plans) and release production orders based on capacity and material availability to support customer demand, keeping inventory levels within target.
  • Review and execute Exception Code (messages) in the system (example: 10, 15, 20, and 96):
  • Bring Process Forward (Expedite)
  • Postpone Process (Postpone Planned Receipt)
  • Cancel Process (Cancel Planned Receipt)
  • Stock Fallen Below Safety Stock Level (Safety Stock Level Not Covered)
  • Review and execute daily delivery blocks to proactively communicate with the Cust Care team (10, 61, WR, ER, etc.)
  • Follow the appropriate escalation process to communicate in a timely manner any situation that may jeopardize normal business performance.
  • Work closely with the production control team to publish the weekly production schedule and monitor schedule compliance.
  • Monthly review of customer demand to properly level the load.
  • Weekly analysis and monitoring of KPIs for planning, on-time delivery, expiration, and lead time.

What Your Background Should Look Like

  • Industrial engineering, business, administration, or related field.
  • Strong computer skills (SAP, MS Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
  • Knowledge of basic planning concepts.
  • 2-5 years of experience
  • Good communication skills
