We have an exciting position open: Industrialization Engineer

The Industrialization Engineer plays a crucial role in ensuring the manufacturability of our products, specifying and procuring equipment, and supporting product launches. This position requires a strong understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment qualification, and safety standards.

As an Industrialization Engineer, you will:

  • Providing Feedback to Product Design: Collaborate with the Product Design team to offer insights and recommendations that enhance the manufacturability of products.
  • Specifying Equipment Requirements: Identify and specify the necessary equipment for manufacturing processes. Work closely with vendors to obtain quotes and procure the required equipment.
  • Qualifying Equipment: Conduct thorough qualification of equipment both at the vendor's site and the final installation site to ensure all requirements are met.
  • Ensuring Equipment Safety: Ensure that all equipment meets safety standards and regulations. Facilitate a smooth transition of equipment to the site and provide support during product launch phases
  • Process Optimization: Continuously evaluate and improve manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and maintain high-quality standards.
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of equipment specifications, qualification processes, and safety protocols.
  • Training and Support: Provide training and support to production staff on new equipment and processes to ensure smooth integration and operation.
  • Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve any issues related to equipment or manufacturing processes in a timely manner.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including R&D, Quality Assurance, and Production, to ensure seamless project execution.

What you will bring on the journey

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (Manufacturing, Plastics, Mechanical or technical area of expertise).

Experience:

  • Experience in injection molding, automation, robotics, and/or inspection equipment and processes for the manufacturing of consumer-packaged goods products.
  • Experience with equipment procurement and vendor management.

Skills/ Competencies:

  • Team player with proven ability to influence across a matrix environment. Ability to develop relationships across all levels of the organization, as well as externally.
  • Technical problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong Project Engineering skills, including Early Management, TPM and value stream engineering, ability to analyze and summarize complex data.
  • Demonstrated oral and written/technical document creation and presentation skills.
  • Ability to take responsibility and own performance by setting goals, seeking feedback and taking actions to develop a team.
  • Ability to travel.
  • Fluent in English.
