EON ASSETS está buscando un Quantitative Research Scientist (QRS) – 100% Presencial en CDMX

En EON ASSETS estamos construyendo el equipo cuantitativo más avanzado y técnico de la región. Buscamos un matemático/quant con pensamiento científico, rigor académico y pasión por los mercados, para desarrollar modelos sistemáticos y probabilísticos de clase institucional.

Este será uno de los roles más importantes dentro de la compañía.

Rol: Quantitative Research Scientist (QRS)

Trabajarás directamente con el CIO, liderando la investigación matemática detrás de nuestras estrategias propietarias y el nuevo motor probabilístico basado en cadenas de Markov y regímenes de mercado.

Serás el responsable de diseñar, validar y evolucionar el EON Quant Engine, el corazón científico de nuestras decisiones de inversión.

Este puesto es 100% presencial en nuestras oficinas de CDMX.

Responsabilidades principales


• Diseñar modelos basados en cadenas de Markov, regímenes de mercado y procesos estocásticos.


• Construir matrices de transición, modelos predictivos y motores probabilísticos.


• Desarrollar versiones avanzadas de los indicadores cuantitativos de EON (SAWI, SYSAT, MATHIX).


• Realizar backtesting con 10–20 años de datos del SPX y otros activos.


• Recalibrar modelos continuamente y optimizarlos conforme cambian los regímenes del mercado.


• Documentar metodologías con nivel institucional para auditores e inversionistas.


• Colaborar con programadores para implementar los modelos en plataformas como Thinkorswim.


• Participar en la creación de nuevas estrategias cuantitativas.

Requisitos


• Maestría o Doctorado en:


• Matemáticas Aplicadas


• Estadística


• Ingeniería Matemática


• Física


• Economía Cuantitativa

(o experiencia equivalente en firmas cuantitativas)


• Dominio comprobable de:


• Cadenas de Markov


• Modelos de regímenes / HMM


• Series de tiempo financieras


• Probabilidad avanzada


• Procesos estocásticos


• Optimización estadística


• Programación en Python (NumPy, Pandas, SciPy, scikit-learn).


• Capacidad de presentar análisis complejos con claridad y precisión.


• Disponibilidad 100% presencial.
