GL Accounting Analyst

As an INTERCOMPANY GL ANALYST, you will be responsible for general accounting services provided to several affiliates and departments (SBU) with an accent on the accuracy and compliance.
Main Responsibilities
- Intercompany accounting of transactions among PPG affiliates according to US GAAP standards and SOX controls.
- Month-end closing accounting and related activities.
- Accurate supporting documentation and account analysis of assigned balance sheet accounts.
- Identification and correction of common accounting issues for intercompany transactions.
- Partnership and support to partners (USCA, SBU, other SSC teams).
- Data gathering for internal and external audit purpose.
- Administrative tasks related to the position such as reporting of activities and tracking on PPG Policies for the intercompany function.
- Follow-up and validation of out of balance transactions between the PPG entities
Qualifications
- Accounting/finance licensure (High-school or University degree) or accounting skills.
- 2 or more years of experience in accounting tasks.
- English on a level (written and spoken).
- Customer service attitude.
- Accuracy and numeracy skills.
- Great teammate.
- Knowledge of Oracle/SAP and experience in a similar role in a multinational company.
- Standard set of digital literacy.
