About the Role

We're seeking a Financial Data Governance & Structures Specialist with strong expertise in SAP FI/CO, SAP S/4HANA, and MDG-F to lead the design and governance of financial master data. This role ensures data accuracy, compliance, and alignment with business goals, supporting decision-making across financial systems—especially within the financial services sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and govern financial master data structures including GL accounts, cost centers, profit centers, bank accounts, and legal entities.
  • Ensure alignment of master data with accounting processes, financial statements, and reconciliation workflows.
  • Develop and implement data governance models and policies across SAP and integrated platforms.
  • Act as product owner for financial data domains, ensuring alignment with business needs and system capabilities.
  • Drive data harmonization and standardization across global financial entities.
  • Collaborate with finance, IT, and data teams to ensure data quality, lineage, and compliance.
  • Support data migration and transformation projects, ensuring integrity and consistency of financial data.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in Master Data Governance, focused on financial data.
  • Proven experience in SAP FI/CO, SAP S/4HANA, and MDG-F implementations and configuration.
  • Strong understanding of financial reporting structures, accounting processes, and data governance principles.
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English (B2+ level or higher).

Technical Expertise

  • SAP ERP FI/CO, SAP MDG-F, and SAP S/4HANA.
  • Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery).
  • MDM tools: ELM, EDMCS.
  • Data analytics & visualization: Excel, Power BI, SQL.
  • Integration with legacy and cloud-based systems.

Desirable Qualifications

  • SAP S/4HANA or MDG-F certifications.
