Reporting to the Indirect Procurement Manager, you as a Sourcing Manager Capex and MRO will be responsible for the lead procurement activities within Capex and MRO categories of Indrect Procurement within all Industrial Business Unit facilities in North America, with the three largest facilities located in Piedras Negras and Matamoros. Key responsibilities include : sourcing, cost reduction, supplier management, savings project management, manging internal stakeholders, and procurment reporting. Accountable to propose and meet supply base improvement targets year by year. This position will require travel within North America (mostly to Piedras Negras and Matamoros).
About Your Role:
Work with internal stakeholders to implement sourcing projects in the different indirect procurement areas in IBU, consolidate and rationalization supplier data base, improve costs and negotiating new prices, develop plant specific sourcing strategies to build a reliable supply base30%
Manage suppliers in cost, quality, delivery to ensure the competitiveness of Littelfuse, regular business review with inportant suppliers, de-risk supply chain and close collaboration with important suppliers 20%
Develop and execute annual cost reduction plan to achieve annual cost reduction targets with cost model implementation, work with engineering team to implement cost saving projects on time30%
Ensure accurate reporting of procurement KPI10%
Ensure accurate follow up of the México´s Indirect Procurement Policy10%
Coaches and manages the work activities and has full management accountability for the performance and development of team. (50%)
About You:
Education
Bachelor degree, English needed, Indirect Procurement experience and experience with suppliers in the north part of MX. Expertise in Capex and/or MRO desired.
Master degree is a plus
Experience:
Strong communication skill, rich project management skill.
Self-management skills and self-started attitude highly valued
Able to lead cross-funtional team to work towards KPI and goals
Ability to interact and engage with peers with good communication skills.
At least 5 - 7 years in Indirect Procurement, knowledge of suppliers in the northern part of Mexico.
Deep procurement experience - analytical skills
English fluent verbally and written is a must.
Proficiency with ERP, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
Experience managing SAP
