Contracts Specialist

We're looking for a talented, dedicated, and energetic individual to join our Legal Team as a Contract Specialist to support our growing firm. The Contract Specialist will report to the Associate Director – Contracts and will engage and be a key point of contacts for both internal and external clients with a focus on contract administration, contract compliance, and the development of standard operating procedures. The ideal candidate will collaborate across all levels of the organization from junior staff to senior leadership as well as client stakeholders. The Contract Specialist will create trusted partnerships with a group of Project Managers and their teams; to help enable the success of our client relationships and deliverables.
Essential Functions
- Manage end-to-end contract tracking using Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platforms. Maintain organized and up-to-date records of all agreements and supporting documentation across multiple systems.
- Collaborate with leadership, in-house counsel, and clients to finalize contracts, including Master Agreements, Extension Amendments, Statements of Work (SOWs), and Confidentiality Agreements.
- Read and understand legal documents including Master Agreement, Project Engagements, Confidentiality Agreements, Purchasing Agreements, and other types of documents as required.
- Review Project Engagements and Statements of Work for compliance with all budgetary approvals and scoping documentation
- Collaborate with Trinity client and project teams in support of Trinity's business, including collaborating on the development of professional services rate cards, discounts, and rebates
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to actively manage renewals of client and vendor Master Agreements
- Assist in preparation of legal documentation such as vendor and contractor agreements / template, communications, etc.
- Support new acquisition integrations across a range of legal and administrative activities
- Other duties as assigned
Position Requirements
Education:
Bachelor's degree required
Work Experience:
4-6 years of contract administration/contract management experience in a life sciences environment
Other Skills:
- Exceptional written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong ability to learn and work under pressure
- High integrity, ethics, logical problem solving with good judgment
- Strong skills in developing and maintaining an effective working relationship with clients and internal teams
- Excellent attention to detail as well as organizational, planning and time management skills
- Proficient at meeting concurrent deadlines and working on multiple projects in a fast paced and challenging environment
- Positive, self-motivated individual with a high level of enthusiasm and willingness to learn and incorporate coaching and instructions into daily tasks and assignments.
- Flexibility for adapting quickly to changing priorities and processes
- Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; experience with DocuSign, SharePoint, LinkSquares, Salesforce or other CLM platforms a plus
