We seek a dedicated Controls Systems Engineer Professional Level.

A dedicated Controls Systems Engineer to join our team and provide controls solutions.

You will work closely with customers and other engineers to execute conveyor systems projects, design and commissioning controls on site will be required.

As a professional Controls Systems Engineer, you will have multiple responsibilities, including administrative tasks, monitoring project execution, and on-site customer support.

You will lead multiple projects on the design stages and on-site controls commissioning.

Purpose
Responsible for the Controls Project Execution.

To engineer and lead the control devices that allow Dematic software and hardware systems to perform to the pre-determined criteria while adhering to schedule and budget constraints. Activities include designing, documenting, interpreting specifications, communicating, problem-solving and on-site commissioning.

• Performs highly complex technical interchange and knowledge transfer for both processes and application of products to system design.
• Able to locate and apply customer standards, as applicable.
• Project Engineering and can lead Commissioning at customer sites.
• Ensures standard work packages are followed.
• Assist Department Manager with various technical processes, including continuous process improvements.
• Communicates, trains, and works with customers for final system design.
• Coordinate with the customer reviewing methods, tests and project acceptance.
• Travels up to 25% to different customer locations and Dematic locations.

Lead Role
The Controls Lead Engineer manages the controls engineering-related activities of a project in order to ensure that relevant deliverables are in time, scope, quality, and budget and adhere to established standards.

Lead Role Responsibilities

• Able to lead small to medium-sized projects from Sales turnover to Customer Service turnover.
• Able to lead 2 small to medium-sized projects in parallel.
• Able to mentor junior project leads.
• Able to supervise other engineers projects (support 4 eyes principle).
• Able to support to Sales and Solutions Development team.
• Able to make or support quotes in the control area with the integration of different technologies or control equipment.
• Able to design into the same project where leading.
• Able to lead commissioning tasks or act as the main point of contact for the commissioning lead.
• Understands and applies 'the Dematic standard workflow'.
• Plans needed resources/engineers for engineering execution.
• Controls lead collaborates with PM on tasks like Change Orders, and forecasts. Also participates in customer and vendor meetings. Clearly understand the project schedule to plan ahead to get deliverables on time.
• Controls lead conducts the required tech reviews for the functionality of the system.
• Controls lead is responsible for technical on-site surveys to get building and existing conveyor or machinery data.
• Develops an effective network that supports him/her technically to be successful in his/her projects.
• Identifies and captures deviations from the as-sold contract. Refer to 'Design Change Policy'.
• Conduct approaches to design quality to utilize the 4 eyes principle (Checking and approval of deliverables Policy), in own projects and for peers' projects.
• The controls lead is responsible for leading the controls creation of the conveyor system that early was created mechanically by the mechanical lead.

The controls lead is responsible to review and understand the controls scope of the project from Sales and Solution development information, information like proposals, Solution Development Drawings, Number of work shifts, Special configurations, and Third parties included in the system.

• Controls lead has the ability to detect possible risks on the project scope.

But Also the controls lead has to be aware of engineering as controls segments, commissioning, and go-live dates. In order to keep the project on track.

Education
Tasks and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering related discipline (Controls Engineering preferred). Certification may be required in some areas.
• Advanced English.

Experience
Typically 5-8 years of successful experience in material handling solutions and successful demonstration of Key Responsibilities and Knowledge as presented above.

Project Lead Development Must Include Knowledge, Experience (expertise In Leading Successful Projects For 2-3 Years), And Training In The Following Subjects

• Understanding of Sales turnover, what information should be covered -Sales turnover agenda-. Sales turnover meeting lets to know to the project leads who are the PM, sales account manager, and solution development engineer.
