Job Summary:
System Soft Technologies is looking for an ambitious, self-driven and detail-oriented Sr. Frontend Engineer to join our creative team. As our Senior Frontend engineer you will be responsible for taking the designs created by designers and using a mix of the latest front-end technologies to change those designs into fully functional web sites and applications. You will work closely with various members of this organization to play a key role in the successful launch of websites and applications for SSTech and its clients. You should be able to translate our company and customers' needs into functional and appealing interactive applications.
Responsibilities:
Use a variety of languages in order to create user-friendly web pages and applicationsDefine visual interfaces that adhere to and extend wireframes, prototypes and specifications.Build, maintain and improve company and client websites and applications Optimize websites and applications for maximum speed, usability, and accessibilityActively seek to understand business requirements to develop solutionsKeep up to date on the latest and emerging technologies as it relates to the positionUse strong problem-solving skills with the drive to find solutions prior to escalationWork in a creative environment with a team of other professionalsQualifications:
8+ years of experience as a Front-End/UI DeveloperStrong experience with HTML, CSS, CSS preprocessing such as Sass or LESS, JSON and Bootstrap 4 or Material UIStrong understanding of React/ReduxStrong understanding of other JS FrameworksUnderstanding of front-end build tools, & version control (Git/GitHub)Ability to mentor other UI Developers and communicate with global teamsSense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on successStrong critical thinking, troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsA positive and friendly attitudeGreat time-management skillsGreat interpersonal and communication skillsSystem Soft Technologies is a proud equal employment opportunity employer.
