We're seeking a Software Engineer to join our growing Technical Integrations division within Professional Services. Come join us in this fast-paced environment as we build the future of Thomson Reuters' technology infrastructure using modern solutions.

About the Role

In this opportunity as a Software Engineer, you will be responsible to:

• Deliver end-to-end technical solutions for multiple products or complex projects.
• Solve complex problems with minimal guidance.
• Design, develop and test software systems and/or applications for enhancements and new products.
• Write code according to coding specifications established for software solutions.
• Deliver software features with exceptional quality, meeting designated release plans and delivery commitments.
• Develop software solutions by studying information needs, conferring with users, studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes, investigating problem areas and following the software development lifecycle.
• Document and demonstrate solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments, and clear code.
• Improve operations by conducting systems analysis and recommending changes in policies and procedures.
• Clearly communicate technical concepts to stakeholders.

About You

You're a fit for the role if your background includes:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, or a related technology program (preferred).
• 2 to 3 years of experience creating integrations and performing ETL work.
• Providing support to relevant stakeholders by being able to properly communicate and answer questions about project procedure and technicalities.
• Experience in software engineering with Java, .NET, and SQL.
• Familiarity with major identity providers such as ForgeRock, Ping, and Okta.
• Experience with REST API development with a security emphasis, including OAuth2, UMA, OIDC, or SAML.
• Desirable experience building cloud-native applications and services on platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
• Desirable experience with automation for CI/CD using tools like CloudFormation and Terraform.
•  English proficiency.
