TTI, Latin America is in search of our next superstar Logistics & Traffic Coordinator II based in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico.
What our Logistics & Traffic Coordinator II do:
- Maintain and ensure compliance with all applicable customs and other government agency procedures to guarantee that Latin America operates competently and applies best practices related to all aspects of the import and export process for all company products and across all regions and sales markets in which the company decides to participate.
- Support compliance with customs and trade regulations for the company's product portfolio.
- Participate in continuous improvement and personal skill set development through internal and external training resources to ensure knowledge and compliance with all future developments of applicable standards, rules, and regulations affecting global trade, transportation, and logistics activities. It will also incorporate all relevant cutting-edge technology and management tools to facilitate continuous growth and professional development.
- Success in this role will be measured by the elimination of any unforeseen delays in inbound and outbound shipments and service disruptions.
What we look for:
- Tactical Execution: Effectively execute the operational activities of the traffic area, including but not limited to: Coordination of shipments and goods receptions, preparation and verification of customs documentation, coordination with carriers and customs brokers to ensure timely delivery of goods, shipment tracking and real-time resolution of logistical issues.
- Quality Management in Transfers: Ensure that daily transfers to customers are carried out according to established quality standards, verifying the accuracy of goods and associated documentation before dispatch.
- System Updates and Documentation: Provide required information and documentation in a timely manner for month-end closing and import tax payments, ensuring record integrity and accuracy in internal systems and closely collaborating with the accounting team to meet tax obligations.
Operational Experience: Extensive experience in traffic operations and logistics management within the context of international trade, with a strong knowledge of customs regulations and import/export procedures.
Informal Leadership and Mentorship: Ability to support team development by providing guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a collaborative work environment, and promoting operational excellence.
Critical Analysis: Ability to analyze complex data, identify significant patterns and trends, and translate information into actionable recommendations to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.
Time and Priority Management:
Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, effectively prioritizing and meeting established deadlines in a dynamic and demanding environment.Strategic Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly, concisely, and persuasively to a variety of audiences, including management and other key stakeholders.
Problem Solving: Aptitude for systematically addressing complex challenges, quickly identifying root causes, and developing effective tactics to resolve them efficiently.
