Senior Application Support – Payments & ISO Banking Systems)About the role

We are looking for a Senior Application Support professional to support mission-critical banking payment platforms. This role is focused on production support, configuration, and operational stability of financial systems related to payments, wires, and credit risk applications.

The ideal candidate has strong experience in banking environments, understands ISO 20022 messaging standards, and has hands-on exposure to SWIFT, Fedwire, CHIPS, ACH, and credit card processing systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide L2/L3 application support for payment and wire processing platforms.
  • Support systems using ISO 20022 messaging standards integrated with SWIFT, Fedwire, and CHIPS.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents related to:
  • Wire transfers, ACH, and credit card transactions.
  • Messaging flows and payment exceptions.
  • Perform application configuration and operational maintenance.
  • Work with ServiceNow for incident, problem, and change management.
  • Participate in Disaster Recovery (DR) activities and support vulnerability remediation.
  • Analyze logs, messaging queues, and data using IBM MQ and SQL.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and development teams to ensure platform stability.
  • Maintain and update technical and operational documentation in Confluence.

Required Qualifications

  • Strong experience in Application Support / Production Support within banking or financial services environments.
  • Hands-on experience with payments and wire processing platforms.
  • Solid knowledge of ISO 20022 messaging standards.
  • Experience working with SWIFT, Fedwire, CHIPS, ACH, and/or credit card processing systems.
  • Experience with IBM MQ or similar messaging technologies.
  • Working knowledge of SQL for data analysis and troubleshooting.
  • Experience supporting applications on Windows environments.
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow for incident and change management.
  • Experience participating in Disaster Recovery processes and vulnerability fixes.

Nice to Have

  • Experience supporting Credit Risk Applications.
  • Background in financial regulatory or risk systems.
  • Previous experience in enterprise banking environments.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $50, $100,000.00 per month
