Mitsubishi Electric Automation, Inc. is seeking someone who is responsible for meeting company standards in quality, safety, security, accuracy and productivity of the warehouse in Mexico (receiving, manufacturing, or shipping). A certain degree of creativity and initiative is required for a 5 month assignment.

Position Duties and Responsibilities:

Logistics Activities

  • Pick and pack orders for shipment and manufacturing as needed. Check and verify orders for shipping and manufacturing.
  • Move products to storage areas with proper equipment and efficiently stack and store merchandise in the appropriate locations according to storage specifications.
  • Perform cycle counts.

Material Handling Activities

  • Operate materials handling equipment
  • Move product, either receipt, pick or, pack via hand held bar code scanner.
  • Check or count freight for accuracy and damage.
  • On a daily basis, inspect and perform minor maintenance on the forklift equipment.
  • Dock duties: Loading and unloading freight

Support Activities

  • Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area. Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse. Conduct operations in a manner which promotes safety.
  • Perform other job functions as assigned.
