Job Summary

We are seeking an
Integration Specialist / Integration Architect
to join our team on a 12-month contract. This role focuses on analyzing business and IT requirements and designing integration solutions that connect systems efficiently, securely, and scalably. The successful candidate will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, producing clear integration designs and guiding implementation through strong documentation and communication.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze and understand business and IT requirements, including use cases, dependencies, non-functional requirements (NFRs), and success criteria.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary project teams as an
    integration specialist
    , proposing integration solutions, improvements, and best practices.
  • Design and document integration solutions, including architecture diagrams, assumptions, interfaces, data flows, and connection details.
  • Deliver presentations and explanations of integration solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Review and analyze existing documentation to incorporate relevant concepts into proposed solutions.
  • Attend requirement-gathering sessions, workshops, follow-ups, and other project-related meetings (remote or onsite).
  • Provide integration consulting and advisory support to internal teams and third-party stakeholders.
  • Model data structures using tables or Excel-based formats to support integration design.

Required Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

Language

  • Spanish and English – Intermediate to Advanced (mandatory)

Mandatory Technical Knowledge

  • General knowledge of integration architecture styles:
  • APIs
  • Service Bus (ESB)
  • Event-driven architectures
  • Domain-based architectures
  • Microservices
  • Understanding of
    Enterprise Integration Patterns
    , such as routing, transformation, retry, and message construction.
  • Knowledge of integration types:
  • Process integration
  • User integration
  • Data integration
  • Third-party integration
  • Experience with integration technologies:
  • SOAP, REST, OData
  • File-based integrations
  • JDBC / database integrations
  • Data formats:
  • XML, JSON, YAML
  • Familiarity with integration platforms such as
    ESB, iPaaS
    , or similar tools.
  • Modeling and diagramming experience using:
  • UML (context, component, sequence diagrams)
  • and/or Visio
  • Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
