  • Prepare the annual maintenance budget for repairs, as well as for the various maintenance activities to be carried out.
  • Review and manage the maintenance budget, ensuring proper allocation of resources and cost control.
  • Review the maintenance programs and plan preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
  • Analyze performance reports and KPIs to assess the effectiveness of maintenance activities.
  • Ensure that maintenance policies and procedures are followed consistently and effectively.
  • Analyzes machine downtime data and develops and implements corrective actions to improve uptime and production processes.
  • Coordinates the Maintenance activities with production departments, facility, outside contractors and equipment manufacturers to ensure uninterrupted plant operations.

Experiencia y requisitos

Education: BS in Electromechanical or Mechanical Engineering or related field.

Experience: minimum of 3 years in a similar position and 1 year in industrial metal-mechanical maintenance.

Experience with machines and equipment such as presses, punch presses, laser cutting, bending machines, powder coating ovens.

  • Solid knowledge in mechanics, electricity, pneumatics, hydraulics, and automation.
  • Knowledge of industrial safety regulations and quality standards such as ISO 9001.
  • Knowledge of Safety, Health, and Regulatory requirements and compliance with safety policies.
  • Implementation of preventive and corrective maintenance systems.
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English)
  • Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Knowledge of ERP systems (Desirable)
