MAIN FUNCTIONS: 1. Formulates, Negotiates and Manages the Department’s Objectives and Budgets, as well as the Strategies and Action Plans to Achieve those Objectives. 2. Develops Preventive Maintenance Programs in conjunction with Engineering, Quality and Production Staff. 3. Schedules Repair, Maintenance, and Installation of Machines, Tools, and Equipment to ensure Continuous Production Operations. 4. Analyzes Current Production Processes and New Product Plans and discusses Equipment Needs and Modifications with Engineering, Quality and Production Staff. Supervises the Building or Modification of Machinery and Equipment for New Production Processes or to aid Current Production Processes. 5. Formulates the Requisitions of Machinery, Equipment and Tools as well as Supervises the Delivery and Inspection of these purchases. 6. Analyzes Production, Quality, and Maintenance reports and statistics to Plan, Develop, Recommend and Implement new methods and procedures designed to Improve Operations, Minimize Operating Costs, and Optimize Labor and Material utilization. 7. Can Supervise the Maintenance of Continuous Services such as electricity, water, gas, as well as the Operation of the Air Conditioning units. 8. Can Supervise the Maintenance of the Building(s), Parking Lots and Patios of the Company. 9. Coordinate the disposition of machinery and equipment by term of useful life, 10. Develops, proposes and implements continuous improvement projects, reduction of energy consumption, water, etc. focused on sustainability and cost reduction. 11.Participates in the planning and development of projects related to the purchase, replacement or improvement of equipment, machinery, new or due to expansion.

Experiência y requisitos

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Engineering Degree (Mechanical, Electrical or Electromechanical). EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: More than 5 Years Managing an Industrial Maintenance Department. LEVEL OF ENGLISH FLUENCY: Advanced (Reading and Writing that allow fluid Presentations and/or Participation in Negotiation Processes). KNOWLEDGE: - Microsoft Office advanced - PM: Preventive Maintenance - TPM: Total Productive Maintenance - OEE: Overall Equipment Effectiveness - Project management - AutoCAD - Electrical Safety - PLC - Continuous improvement - Pneumatic and hydraulic systems - CNC computer numerical control COMPETENCES: - Negotiation and dealing with suppliers - Leadership - Planning and organization - Sense of urgency - Communication - Supervision - Focus on problem solving
