About our partner: A global leader in premium kitchen technology is seeking a Program Manager, Product Development, to lead the execution of cross-functional product initiatives from concept through launch. Known for its commitment to craftsmanship, innovation, and consumer trust, the company designs and manufactures products used in millions of kitchens across domestic and international markets.
The Program Manager, Product Development, will be responsible for driving successful product initiatives by ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in alignment with quality and performance standards. This role works closely with Engineering, Operations, Quality, Manufacturing, and Commercial teams to apply consistent project management practices, support customer-centric product design, and enable continuous improvement throughout the product lifecycle.

What You'll Do
Lead product development projects from initiation through completion, ensuring alignment with scope, schedule, budget, and quality objectives.Develop comprehensive project plans, manage resources, and oversee deliverables across the full product lifecycle.Apply and enforce the company's Stage-Gate product development process, maintaining compliance with established standards and governance.Direct and align activities across Engineering, Operations, Quality, Manufacturing, and other stakeholders to achieve project goals.Identify required skillsets and secure key business and technical resources for successful project delivery.Establish and maintain build schedules for prototypes and lead units, adjusting plans based on customer feedback, material availability, and production constraints.Analyze warranty data, labor reports, safety metrics, and material costs to identify opportunities for product and process enhancements.Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality teams to ensure critical technical requirements are met throughout the project lifecycle.Organize and lead project status meetings, maintaining clear, timely communication with stakeholders.Leverage post-project cost analysis and performance insights to drive continuous improvement initiatives.Guide Engineers and Designers assigned to product development projects, fostering collaboration and accountability.
What You Need
Experience:
2–4 years of experience in project management, preferably within a product development or engineering environment.Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.PMP or equivalent certification strongly preferred.Technical Skills:
Proficient in MS Office.Experience with project management tools and methodologies.Knowledge of engineering processes, prototype development, and manufacturing operations.Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional product development projects.Ability to analyze data and drive continuous improvement initiatives.Physical Demands:
Ability to sit up to 8 hours per day, with walking and standing required frequently.Visual acuity is required for preparing and analyzing data, viewing a computer terminal, and reading documents, reports, and emails.Repetitive hand movements for tasks such as typing.Amount of Travel Required:
Up to 10% travel required.
