Leader, Project Management

**Visión general**:
The Project Manager is responsible for planning, leading and managing transfer projects in plumbing product categories, spanning a wide variety of products including sinks, toilets, and bathtubs. The PM manages the execution of multiple projects from approval through to implementation.

This individual will be responsible for managing the process and implementation of manufacturing transfer projects that require cross-functional and cross-site (including international) coordination. Projects will involve internal and outsourced products for bath and kitchen fixtures. He or she will manage project plans, timelines, budgets, team members, and resources while monitoring the process from concept through implementation. LIXIL International transfer processes will be managed to maximize the quality, speed, and business impact of the projects. The Project Manager will work closely with Manufacturing, Finance, Engineering, Logistics, and Procurement functions to ensure that optimal business solutions are implemented.

**Responsabilidades**:
Defining critical process / product parameters and their targets.

Managing, planning, scheduling, communicating, facilitating, and reporting project related tasks.

Coordinating the work of project team members to ensure that project goals are achieved.

Identifying risks and formulating and executing abatement plans. Facilitation and lead of problem solving.

Monitor cost for both project and product assuring actual cost is on target.

**Reviews and assures SAP accuracy**: BOM’s and Routings, CoO, cost, CAPEX management

Participate in pilot assembly and coordinate with quality, process, engineering and manufacturing team for a successful production start-up as needed.

Breaking work down into manageable tasks required to meet project objectives and assigning and/or directing the work of others.

Leading cross-functional teams.

Maintain regular communication with NPD and Engineering teams on cross-category initiatives to identify opportunities for synergies and project efficiencies, maximizing resources and sharing lessons learned.

Coordinating regional Transfer Review meetings as well as project deliverables and reporting progress to senior management.

**Requisitios**:
Education required and/or years of work experience

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or other analytical discipline.

Minimum of 5+ years of professional experience in project leadership on multiple moderate to complex projects.

Strong knowledge of project management disciplines and project team dynamics. Demonstrated successfully managed projects an as project manager showed the ability to influence others to desired outcomes.

Experience with Ceramics, Acrylics, Solid Surface Materials, and Furniture a plus.

Project Development experience in a consumer durable goods business strongly preferred.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Strong analytical, communication, teamwork and interpersonal skills

Proven ability to effectively negotiate and facilitate complex problem resolution

Must be able to travel up to 35%.

Knowledge of Gantt charts, Excel or equivalent project management software is required.

Fluency in English is required.

Working experience using Portfolio Project Management software

Certifications Required

PMP or equivalent professional certification.
