We are currently seeking an experienced individual to join the team in the role of **Test and Quality Engineering** **job is responsible for requirements, traceability, tooling, designing, automating and executing test strategies and test plans for Products/Services.

**Principal Accountabilities**
- Software testing using various methods and tools
- Establish a digital environment and automate processes to minimize variation and ensure predictable high quality code and data.
- Create technical test plans and records, including unit and integration tests, within automated test environments to ensure code quality.
- Quality assurance automation ensuring that the test strategy also take into account the test data, environments and non-functional testing relevant for Products/Services.
- Compliance with all relevant controls and standards.
- Work with Ops and Dev Engineers to ensure operational issues (performance, operator intervention, alerting, design defect related issues, etc.) and any design related issues are identified during testing, and addressed in a timely manner prior to implementation
- Provide support in identification and resolution of all incidents associated with the IT service, as directed by leadership of the DevOps team
- Ensure service resilience, service sustainability and recovery time objectives are met for all the software solutions delivered.
- Responsible for automating the testing within the DevOps pipeline driving a culture of continuous improvement.
- Keep up to date and have expertise on current tools, technologies and areas like cyber security and regulations pertaining to aspects like data privacy, consent, data residency etc. that are applicable
Requirements

**Requirements**:

- Champions Agile testing principles and practices in the team
- Provides Quality and Testing related input during Inception phase
- Collaborates with Project Manager and Developers to ensure test environments and data are suitable for use throughout the project lifecycle
- Proposes test strategy options that address the quality needs of the product, and leads the team in modifying the testing strategy over the course of the project
- Includes in the test strategy, the testing scope of the project, responsibilities, environments required, testing approach, tools, testing schedule, reporting and resource requirements
- Ensures test automation remains valuable as a feedback mechanism and guides team to optimize for speed, robustness, and coverage
- Supports the Product Owner and Business Analyst in the definition of acceptance criteria and refinement of scope
- Learns about the product and provides this information to the rest of the team through collaboration
- Collaborates with Developers to create acceptance tests on the basis of defined acceptance criteria
- Maintains focus on building quality into the developed product throughout the entire project lifecycle
- Prioritises test efforts, taking into account the operational and technical risks
