**Propósito del puesto**

Coordinar los recursos de todas las areas de Ingeniería de SMT en lograr los requerimientos del cliente, mantener la productividad, calidad y ayudar en la solución de problemas.

**Principales Roles & Responsabilidades**
- Liderar las actividades de Ingeniería en el área de SMT en coordinación con Ingeniería de Manufactura, Producto y de Prueba en los productos liberados orientadas a implementacion y mejora de procesos y productos.
- Implementar objetivos estrategicos, alinear personal y recursos en el ambiente de manufactura.
- Cumplimiento en las metas de presupuesto.
- Establecer y mantener el canal de comunicación apropiado entre planeacion de Producto y el área de Ingeniería de SMT.
- Promover y dar soporte a las metas de Calidad y Medio ambiente.
- Liderear el equipo de Ingenieria de SMT con reclutamiento, orientación y tutoría, gestion de rendimiento y desarrollo profesional.
- Depurar, desarrollar y ejecutar iniciativas de mejora para la eficiencia y utilización de lineas de producción.
- Liderar la comunicación de operaciones con los equipos de diseño e introducción de nuevos productos para revisar la manufacturabilidad/capacidad de prueba y desarrollar/documentar un plan de proceso de produccion completo durante el diseño temprano.
- Brindar apoyo continuo a mejoras en el proceso de producción según sea necesario para garantizar una alta calidad y un rendimiento de fabricación más rentable y eficiente.
- Optimizar el proceso de fabricación reduciendo el tiempo de inactividad y mejorando los métodos de cambio.
- Realizar análisis detallado de causa raíz de defectos con planes de contención y acciones correctivas y preventivas.

**Requerimientos para el puesto**
- **Escolaridad**: Grado Ingeniería (Manufactura, Industrial, Electrónica, Mecánica, Mecatrónica, Eléctrica, Electromecánica, Informática).
- **Deseable**: Maestría en ingeniería.
- **Experiência**:7 a10+ años de Gerente de ingeniería en SMT en industria automotriz.

**Idioma**:(Ingles 85%+).

**Software**:MS Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and Project, CAD (AutoCAD and Solid Works), FlexSim.

**Habilidades y Conocimiento**
- Amplio conocimiento de los procesos SMT y la capacidad de fabricación de componentes / PCA: impresión de pasta, pick & place, horno de reflujo, soldadura por ola y selectiva, enrutador, recubrimiento y equipos de lavado.
- Herramientas de Manufactura Esbelta.
- Conocimiento en metodología relacionada a Productividad y Eficiencia (Operaciones).
- Capacidad para realizar PFMEA y DFMEA.
- Experiência en reclutar, contratar y retener equipos.
- Experiência con ambientes de manufactura esbelta y resultados demostrables y liderazgo orientado a mejora continua de costo, calidad y productividad.
- Excelentes habilidades organizacionales, analiticas y en solucion de problemas.
- Uso de software asistido por computadora.
