Position /
_Job_: Planning Manager
Key Responsibilities:
1. Analyze the different resources of the demand and manufacturing inputs and support the areas, to prepare and communicate the production master plan of the different areas of the plant; the master plan will be considered as the administrator for delivery dates, finished product delivery projections, capacity management in critical processes, generates the projection of required associates in production associates and other relevant points of the production process.
2. Control key metrics and provide direction of: Revenue, On-Time Deliveries, Adherence to Plan, Mix Adherence, Overdue Orders, Productivity, Cycle Times, Inventory/DOH Turns, and Inventory Reserves.
3. Supervise and allocate department resources and tasks to ensure continuous workflow and adherence to projects.
4. Prepare delivery performance and safety stock reports on a regular basis and communicate results to Supply Chain and Operations management.
5. Proactively identifies and communicates r current and potential opportunities and issues so that the Leadership team can make the right decisions. Proactively leads change for the improvement of business processes, systems and improvements of people who gain efficiency and effectiveness of planning functions
and areas under the responsibility of this function.
6. Confirm customer service promise dates and coordinate recovery plan activities with customers when needed.
7. Responsible for maintaining functionality and data integrity in MRP. Oversees and maintains planning and other relevant activities in relation to demand and supply in ERP.
8. Coordinate the necessary efforts to maintain the SIOP at the site.
9. Coordinate production plans and the introduction of new products or product transfers on time.
10. Define and coordinate inventory strategies, which includes efforts to maintain EOL inventories and manages the generation of slow-moving inventory reports, being in charge of the effective control of FGs and the management of orders in process and inventory levels of raw materials.
11. Maintain and create standard processes, procedures, and controls for production planning and control activities.
12. Responsible for setting individual development goals and plans for each of the members in their charge and is a key contributor to maintaining a healthy work environment.
13. Perform other activities as required.
- Bachelor's degree in Business or equivalent
- 8 years of experience in supply chain and production environment.- Excellent leadership and communication skills.- Fluent spoken and written English
