We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Supplier Quality Engineer to join our team at Quest Global. As a Supplier Quality Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of suppliers' products and services and identifying continuous improvement initiatives.
**Responsibilities**:
- Identify continuous improvement initiatives in Supplier Quality Processes to improve Return to Vendor Cycle Time, reduce slow-moving inventory levels, and Improve Supplier Containment
- Collaborate with stakeholders to establish and maintain quality standards for materials and components used in our aerospace and defense products.
- Monitor and evaluate supplier performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and implement effective solutions.
- Provide guidance and support to suppliers in implementing quality improvement initiatives.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in supplier quality management.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Supplier Quality Engineer in the aerospace and defense industry.
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems and standards, such as AS9100 and ISO 9001.
- Familiarity with supplier qualification and auditing processes.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
