Supplier Quality Engineer

Job Description In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: Perform audits of suppliers’ quality management systems and processes. Create qualification plans and verify Production Part Approval Process deliverable. Monitor and manage the quality of purchased components. Respond to supplier quality issues and lead disposition of supplier non-conformances and actions identified on each instance through the Andon process. Champion problem solving and root cause analysis activities with suppliers through Supplier Corrective Action Requests to eliminate recurrence of non-conformances. Develop receiving inspection plans and verification methods. Provide supplier quality input for metrics reporting and organizational communication. Control and maintain minimum inventory levels of discrepant material at MRB (Material Review Board). Manage and dispose supplier non-conformances in a timely manner. Continuously improve supplier quality. Monitor supplier quality trends and drive improvements as needed. Analyze supplier quality metrics to identify improvement opportunities. Implement solutions that optimize the balance of quality, cost, and performance. Optimize Supplier Quality Engineering systems, processes, and tools. For This Role, You Will Need: Bachelor degree in engineering, preferred in materials, mechanics, electromechanics or similar.
