We are looking for an experienced **Senior Data Software Engineer** to join our team.

**Responsibilities**
- Design and implement scalable data architectures using Snowflake, including automated data ingestion with Snowpipe
- Optimize data processing performance and security in Snowflake environments
- Build and maintain event-driven architectures with Apache Kafka or Google Pub/Sub
- Develop real-time data streaming, message queuing, and event processing solutions
- Write robust Python code for custom components and integrations
- Manage source code and CI/CD pipelines with GitLab
- Lead development teams, provide mentorship, and maintain technical excellence within the team
- Implement Agile methodologies and DevOps best practices in cloud and data engineering workflows
- Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
- Ensure effective communication with cross-functional teams to align technical solutions with business needs

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 3 years of experience in data engineering or related roles
- Strong expertise in Snowflake and familiarity with its security and governance features
- Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka or Google Pub/Sub and designing event-driven microservices
- Capability to manage GitLab for source code and automated deployment strategies
- Snowflake Certification (e.g., SnowPro Core, SnowPro Advanced - Data Engineer) is highly preferred
- Experience leading development teams and balancing coding with leadership responsibilities
- Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience with DevOps practices

- Familiarity with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
