(Cen) Corporate Internal Control Advisor

Ensure an efficient internal control environment for CEMEX’s corporate processes through risk assessments, design and development of controls, remediation of deficiencies, and use of prevention and innovation as tools to reduce control errors.

**Main Responsibilities**:

- Develop and maintain up-to-date internal control documentation.
- Manage CEMEX’s Policy Center, including policies and controls.
- Coordinate corporate processes, controls, and tools, such as conflict of interest, relevant transactions, and unusual events.
- Develop a prevention-oriented internal control strategy through the implementation of self-assessment tools and practices.
- Advise company areas on the improvement of the control environment and the implementation of best practices for risk mitigation.

**Qualifications**:

- Academic Background: Master’s Degree (Desirable)
- Subject / Major: Accounting, Administration, Finance, Information Systems.
- 6 years of experience: Internal Control, Auditing, Accounting.
- Technical Skills: Advanced English proficiency, Microsoft Office, Internal Control frameworks and regulations (i.e. COSO, Sarbanes-Oxley Act).
- Soft Skills: Effective verbal/written communication, proactive nature, team player, problem-solver, self-motivated, innovative.
- Integrity, honesty, and proper conduct, as established by CEMEX´s Code of Ethics.

INTERNAL
- CEMEX’s corporate areas (ERM, Legal & Compliance, Planning, GES, Sustainability, OHR, Finance, Procurement, Process Assessment, P&IT).

EXTERNAL
- CEMEX’s external auditor (KPMG).
- Outsourcing partners (HCL, TCS, Axians).
- Consultants.
