Process Engineer

**In your future role as Process Engineer, you will**:

- Investigate root causes of process variation and coordinate corrective actions.
- Support the Production team with statistical process control techniques when needed.
- Regularly review SPC (Statistical Process Control) charts and take corrective actions when necessary.
- Keep P&IDs (Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams) up to date based on approved equipment and process changes.
- Prepare or coordinate the creation of procedures and all documentation related to production processes.
- Lead the Management of Change (MOC) process and ensure all required safety and process analysis documentation is in place.
- Follow up on actions from MOCs, audits, and new systems implemented in your assigned areas.
- Run plant trials for new processes or products, and manage related documentation.
- Monitor and optimize production processes by developing and executing improvement projects.
- Participate in new investment projects when required.
- Promote and follow Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs).
- Lead planning and execution of HAZOPs in assigned areas, and make sure action items are closed out.
- Train and onboard operators on production processes.
- Help develop and maintain engineering books for your areas.
- Actively participate in MTS and behavior-based safety programs through walkthroughs and toolbox talks.
- Keep the “Run Database” updated and send it monthly to TGPC.

**We believe you bring**:

- A degree (Bachelors / Licenciatura) in Chemical Engineering
- 3+ years of experience as a Process Engineer
- Experience in plant commissioning is a big plus
- Solid English communication skills (required)
- Availability to work onsite at our plant in Los Reyes (Av. Morelos 49, Col. Tecamachalco, Km 20.7 — 56500 Los Reyes La Paz)
- Willingness to occasionally work OT or weekends to support plant tests
- Familiarity with the Management of Change (MOC) process is strongly preferred
- Experience using SAP, especially with SAP BOM (Bill of Materials), is a plus

**Additional details**:
This is a permanent position on a full-time basis, reporting to the Maintenance and CAPEX Manager.
