**In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be**:
- Diligent resolution of customer complaints.
- Implementation and follow-up of corrective actions.
- Management of compliance with Quality System requirements.
- Validation of rework material.
- Validation of special customer requirements.
- Implementation of controls to reduce manufacturing defects.
- Generate SCRAP and Rework reports.
- Validate new production processes,
- Generate FMEAs, Process Diagram, PPAP, APQP
- Detect opportunities for improvement in production processes.
- Manage compliance with engineering specifications for all machining, assembly, and welding processes (WPS, BPS, WPQ PQR, ETC).
- Manage compliance with process audits.
- Updates manufacturing floor dashboards.
- Coordinates material purges in the warehouse.
- Reviews non-conforming products in manufacturing. Releases finished products.
**For This Role, You Will Need**:
- Industrial, Mechanical, or related engineering.
- Interpretation of plans or drawings. 5S methodology, basic metrology.
- Analytical skills.
- Core tools, problem solving, and decision making.
- Handling of measuring instruments.
- Statistical process control (SPC), GR&R studies, 8D's, knowledge of standard norms (ASTM, ASME, MSS-SP55), casting process, and CNC machining.
- Minimum of 3 years in the area of quality, casting processes.
- Knowledge of metalworking industry standards
- Knowledge of material strength
- Knowledge of casting processes, heat treatments, welding, knowledge of operational excellence, experience in the use of statistical tools, and statistical process control.
