**Description**
- Achieve required both internal and customer quality objective.
- Implement and mantain quality systems as well as monitor it´s effectiveness in our processes.
- Strategic quality plans implemented for each area under quality engineer scope to achieve proposed quality targets
**Responsibilities**
- Keep MRB - Quarentine raw material area under control.
- Follow up with suppliers to reported quality issues.
- Support to the evaluation of new suppliers selection.
- Support APQP activities.
- New material sample evaluation.
- Implementation and evaluation of supplier quality system audits.
- Elaborate and evaluate SQA procedures.
- Coordinate and follow up to the supplier corrective actions.
- Elaborate and distribute supplier performance information.
- Coordinate MRB discrepant material meetings.
- Elaborate inspection plans.
- Participate in rework and/or 100% inspection coordination for defective material.
**What will you bring to the role**
- ISO9001 / IATF 16946 (or any other standard under its manufacturing area of supporting) good understanding.
- SPC (statistical process control) knowledge.
- Control plan, FMEA and quality systems understanding.
- UL and CSA knowledge.
- Ability to effectively use problem solving techniques, 8D´s and Six Sigma.
- Initiative and motivation to solve problems quickly
- Participate in production and quality personel qualification programs.
